Hi Fi news review

yet still impractical as far as where to put it on a rack and how to lay the cables ... to a point that really the best place for it is hidden out of site making the aesthetic improvements redundant ... just IMOContrary to what many may think, Musical Fidelity listened closely to what was said about the aesthetics of the V-DAC and we took the criticism to heart. We have made a substantial investment in the extrusion fabrication techniques for the V-DAC II. The result is that it looks much better and the finish is also vastly improved. The V-DAC II looks classy and technical at the same time, which is a perfect combination for a DAC.

I agree. It would go behind my rack if I were to get one.
just, put the connections on one end and make it wider and less deep ... ... in fact a beresford case would be perfect ...
im mulling the v-link ... it'll go in the cupboard ...
