Now for something a bit more mainstream:

Gioacchino Rossini, Orchestre Symphonique De La Radiodiffusion Nationale Belge, Bruxelles – 'Ouvertüren Zu Wilhelm Tell - Der Barbier Von Sevilla - Tancred'

(My copy has a more modern-looking cover.)

    Label: Telefunken – LS 6026
    Format: Vinyl, LP, 10", Mono
    Country: Germany

    Genre: Classical

I know I have never posted on here as I don't own any classical music. But this arrived today which I suppose counts:

Heard part of this many times over the years and never known what it was. But thanks to Shazam during a documentary about Putin, now I do

Mrs. P hates it! So it will join The Beatles and Bjork on my "Only play while Anita's away" list.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.

    T'other system:

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

It certainly does count is that's not "classical" then I don't know what is. (Classical in inverted commas as it's not strictly the c.1760-1830 classical period.)
