the two Tveitt piano concertos here are both unusually original and lovely.
The caterwauling female in the third piece on the album had me skipping ahead to the next concerto very rapidly!

I have posted this before, but thought I would again and add a few comments, as I put it on quite often.

It is a stunning soundtrack and is interesting being orchestral primarily, some of the music was recorded and then deliberately reversed to create intensity/sharpness, the composer has also recorded sounds from all sorts of items, like a coffee grinder and incorporated it to get a feeling. Parts of it are very deep and dark, but at the same time there are some beautiful orchestrations all creating pictures and intensity with the music. I would recommend a listen even if you don't like or know the film.

It is available on TIDAL, and for Jerry https://youtu.be/LhlHqANcKjU

    I'm on TIDAL as well.

I'll save it to my TIDAL album library for later perusal.

Currently enjoying a superb Tchaikowsky 6th symphony conducted by Muti.

    Fabulous haul, Marco,

And I am sure you know that several of those records qualify as all time best performances. For example, Keillor earth on the Bruckner sixth. Happy listening!
