I know that's the modern meaning but a long time ago it was used to describe the Scottish. I was wondering if it's an early example of PC.

I'm using Spotify's Recent Release feature for the first time.
Should have done so a long time ago!

2 and 4 from the just-released Brahms symphony cycle by Zehetmair.
Quite unusual interpretations - generally laidback and very lucid. The word minimalist comes to mind.
    I enjoyed them a lot.

New release on ECM by Heinz Holliger on and around the music of contemporary composer Kurtag.
I can do without the (thankfully brief) poetry recitations in German (which I skipped) but the rest of the album is excellent.

Now playing Hilary Hahn's latest release of solo violin works by Anton Garcia Abril and really enjoying them.

    Strikingly, hauntingly 'spare' music.
Just the bare bones of sound.
    Beautiful.
