    Agreed - Goebel's Brandenburgs is absolutely top, I vividly remember first time I heard his final movement of no3. Fastest ever!

    Certainly gripping performances but at times I felt he was rushing for the sake of it. For everyday listening I rather like Pinnock.

    The later Pinnock Brandenburgs on Avie have startlingly good sound quality. A bit livelier and more interesting imo than his earlier Archiv recordings, too.
