Some parts are quiet. I've been so many times, I guess I've gravitated towards the less touristy parts. Kefalos has so much coastline and great beaches, it's easy to find a bit of seclusion.
I've been spending extended periods in Cyprus (and sometimes Kos) for some time now. "Holidays" right now are when I nip back to "Blighty" for the odd bit to escape the heat and have a bit of fun with my hifi bits. I'm back for 3 weeks tomorrow but I might be unlucky with escaping the high temperatures, if the posts on here about the hot weather are correct. At least I will be leaving the mozzies behind.
Greece and Cyprus are so nice to spend time in. I can understand you missing the experience, especially with Greek in-laws. I'm missing the fab food this time because I've been on a diet for what seems like forever. Temptation is everywhere!
