    Default Different skin?

I think i may well have worked out what is causing me to have what might be occular migraines It's looking at my PC with the bright page compared to the dark background of my PC.

I'm pretty sure it's this that is causing them. The first time it happened back in November 2010 i was watching something on the TV but the PC screen was still going & no doubt it was this site. A few days ago i had my second freak out & i was searching stuff on fleabay (nice white screen).. Well i had the bugger again yesterday & as soon as i noticed it i went & did something else entirely & it kind of petered out in a short time..

I know different skins are available for VBulletin software, is there a chance some nice kind admin can add this to the site, IE a choice of skins of different colours so i don't have to restrict my time on the site? A darker background with brighter letters would be great..

I have been on VBulletin sites where skins can be changed so i know it's definately possible.. If you are wondering why i haven't been online so much you now know why
    Bests, Mark

Funny you should say, I had an attack today at work, first time in about six months. Rather annoying as we were looking at some drawings and I couldn't see them properly, due to all the kaleidoscope stuff going on. Very trippy!

I certainly have no problems with what you suggest, although implementing it would be down to our techy whizzes Nick (Beechwoods) or Rob (Filterlab), so talk nicely to them, dude

It appears that i probably don't have a problem in the evening as i have a drink or so It's the daytime when i'm straight that problems occur

Things look ok right now but in all honesty i'd rather not push the boat out so to speak. A skin change will probably allow me to get back to logging in earlier with little or no problems, as myself & Mike (Jac Hawk) both moderate the AV room this would of course be very helpful to me

Funny that a drink stops me hallucinating

Honestly though it's not nice when you are straight to have seriously messed up & psychedelic vision

No, not much fun Mark, especially when you are walking around a 275kV sub station and can't see properly!

Following your suggestion Mark, we're both on it right now and will be working on it over the next few days. Watch this space (but with the brightness turned down for now).
