Anyone interested?
If anyone fancies a bake-off where the emphasis is mostly on music, food and banter then you are welcome to come to the 2nd annual Settle gathering. We hire a bunkbarn in the Yorkshire Dales, rock up...
It's not just the students, it's the fleets of dad taxis descending that cause problems. Sunday is their favourite day for returning.
Only 18/08 is a Sunday, which I think the OP said is the target day. Leave it much later in September and the students will be arriving back in hordes. Lots of Hallam students round that area.
Saw this on PFM first, so have replied there
I have a Bez T3B-3 for sale. Not well known, but a nice little amp. Asking just £300 including some spare valves....
I have a pair of IPL S3TL mk3 that I am no longer using, if they would be of interest. Like (or possibly the actual) ones here https://sites.google.com/site/stevesstuffproject/ipl-acoustics-project

Yes, there was plenty of pig - BBQ'd and fried
Plenty of pics on AA, I'll cull a selection and post them here
... and a jolly good time was had by all. Plenty of music, kit, food, banter and booze (not necessarily in that order).
This stuff is pretty good too, about 1-2mm thick. Whichever you use, you will need to clean and degrease the surfaces thoroughly. I used some Coleman fuel (heptane, no oil in it) when I stuck the...

I perhaps should have added that anyone attending is welcome to bring kit - I'll post a list of what's coming later on
The gentlemen of the (Audio) Abattoir are holding a social weekend at Hornby Laithe bunkhouse (about 2 miles north of Settle in the Yorkshire Dales) from Friday 14 Sep to Sunday 16 Sep (2 nights). We...
Many thanks to Robert (Open Door) for rapid dispatch of the phono stage, very well packed. It is now in my system and sounding very nice.
Yes please, if still available
I picked up a pair of Revox Plenum B mkII speakers a while ago. The bass drivers have been replaced with non-Revox ones, but I'm very happy with the sound of them.
£125 without cartridge. No idea whether that is good or not (they were £180 new but that was back in '81). It is has some scratches and could do with a service - takes a few seconds to get speed...
Hope you get fixed up - coincidence, I recently bought a PS-X600 and have this day travelled up to Bradford to collect a faulty PS-T33 for the same reason. Now listening to an ADC XLM fitted in it.
Sheffield. If you're ever up this way you are welcome to drop in.
No, they are mine. Still for sale...
