Upgrade the valves in the Croft, redo the crossovers on the 44's ..Brian28 on Lenco Heaven can do that...Same as me, he has HPD 12's then 15's then decided to stay with crossover updated 44's. Lost...

Stick to the 44's...upgrade what you have. Tannoys HPDs are like Marmite...had them all, and not impressed!

As for second, Brian Limage for turntable setups, speaker renovations, foam surrounds, rewire tonearms, rebuild all SME arms etc...close tolerance engineer with patience. Very reasonable price too!...

My 2 olde reliable first time fix merchants are David Coe AD Audio in Wimbledon. Knows all valve kit inc Audio Innovations, Radford Quad & Leak + MOSFET - Cambridge AR Armstrong etc transistor kit....

It is Audio Gold in Crouch End selling the amp....looks like they're scrapping the barrel by selling high on eBay....bless their cotton socks....Tulip range good, but not at that price....
