Just received my Ianmac bearing!

I have a 1999 1200M3D, I replaced the bearing with a new one about 6 years ago and also put a Delrin thrust plate on it from KAB.
I noticed some noise when putting my ear close to the platter,...
I use the Hudson HI FI acrylic mat on my 1200, I like it better than rubber. It doesn't deaden the sound as much as the rubber mat.
SOLD
I thought that I had nothing to loose so tried this.
Instead of loosening the locking collar on the horizontal bearing and adjusting the center screw, I completely removed the locking collar...
It is supposed to be most of the parts to build a Rega RB202
I even thought about making an arm around this:

My 1200 M3D developed a problem a few weeks ago. I noticed the tonearm kept drifting to a spot just outside of where a record starts. It does it with the anti-skate at 0 or at full, the anti-skate...
I bought this Hana EL 2 months ago and have between 60 and 70 hours on it. I like the Hana sound and decided to go for the Shibata version (SL).
I can trade it in for about the same price and...
Has anyone successfully mounted a second tonearm on a 1200? I did a quick search and didn't find anything.
I went the route of putting the spikes directly on my platter so this has been sitting for a couple of years. I added spacers to the underside that I can remove if desired (see pix). It will be...
I really like the Denon DL-301MKII and it can be had in your price range. Do some research first as some folks don't care for it.
Yes, I used an aluminum tube inside the carbon fiber tube.
I did the DIY external power supply, it did lower the noise floor a bit. Well worth it as a DIY project.
I am planning to get one when I return from vacation in a couple of weeks.
I was thinking of trying plumbers putty under the bearing instead of wax. It is easily removable if it doesn't work.

Here are a couple of pix. I went with a cheap one because I didn't want connectors, just a flat surface to attach the cartridge to. I glued it into the carbon fiber tube with JB weld.
It is a cheap one I purchased online. I removed the connecting pins from it so I could run the wire straight through to the cartridge.
Well so far the channel balance seems to be better, not sure why. The clarity is definitely better. I really need to listen to a lot of records and figure it out :)

Thanks to Qwin for being the first (that I know of) to post his DIY carbon fiber tonearm for the 1200. I just completed this on my 1200 M3D and love it.
I also used KAB superflex wire and ran it...
Well said :)
I tried it with the Heresy's upside down because it is said that the tweeters should be close together, I honestly cannot tell a difference so keep them upright.
I have been told...
They are wired in parallel at the xover inputs, all drivers working.
I had heard about people dong this and liking it so about a year or so ago I tore my listening room down for new flooring and...
Thanks, the turntable is a Technics SL-1200M3D with lots of mods. :D
A closer view of the Klipsch stacks and xovers:

ALK style xovers for the...
Do you mean close ups of the xovers etc? If so I can take some. I posted pix in the gallery but nothing close up.
It is a Yaqin MS-20L, EL34 based. 25wpc triode mode, 50wpc ultra linear. I use triode mode all the time.
