I have a Beresford converter, older model though, think works with Linux and up to Windows 7. Maybe check with Stan if it can be updated, £10 plus postage if you like.

I upgraded from Chord Clearwater to Van Damme, and then to Eidon Wonfor LS-25. Big jump in price, but big improvement in sound. All you can do is try different cables and see if they make any...
I have a pair of these, and also LS-25. The 25 smokes the Van Damme in bass control and texture, but if I never heard the 25, I could happily live with Van Damme, certainly great value for money.
Big thanks to vintagesteve for the sale of the JPW mini monitors, super packaging, lovely sweet sounding speakers, I am a bit shocked how good they are.
Cheers
Cool, I will take them off your hands, I know somebody in need of these. PM on the way.
Late to the party, but are these still available?
In answer to the original question - of course streaming is not doomed. Sound quality is not a factor for the vast majority, as long as it is good enough, those who want vinyl or anything else will...
Simply stunning interconnect. I also have two pairs. Nothing comes close at this price.
Getting a PC to sound as good as a good CD player can be fiddly and expensive, but does give a lot of flexibility. I found the BlueSound to sound better than my Fidelized PC, you can easily attach a...
I do stream, Qobuz, hires where available, via Bluesound. However, steaming does not sound as good as my CD player. Pulling tracks off a hard disk directly attached does to the same Bluesound does...
My experience, as a current node 2i owner, is that as a streamer, it is superb, very easy to use, the app runs on pretty much everything. I certainly prefer it to any PC based option, both...
I might be interested if my Onix DNA 45 order has to be cancelled, it is taking an age to get made, and I am losing patience. Should know this week.
I have the 2i, the software is very good, and as a streamer, also very good, better than my pc. The optical output is excellent, then again, better than coax for me, but I don’t have a fancy coax...
The LS25 certainly has a deeper soundstage, but as mentioned, the LS50 is meant to be on its way, but who knows what the price will be.
There is also the Atlas Mavros to consider, again, very...
Well, oddly enough, I have. They are both very fine cables, and possibly dependant on your kit, no value in changing, but certainly I prefer the LS25, I find it more open, better imaging, and really...
Do you have to pay extra to stream Qobuz/Tidal? I saw that mentioned in a different review, as in, extra to Volumio, not just the streaming subscription.
That does look like a very nice piece of kit, added to my list, thanks.
Can you stream Qobuz with this gizmo? It might be what a dummy like me could do with.
Edit: I checked the website, and yes you can. Could onto something here...
Currently using the inbuilt dac in my Onkyo 9070. It’s not too bad, considering it is fed via optical, but I really want to get the computer out the equation and be able to use a tablet as front end...
Hi Stig
Great to hear, pleasure doing business with you.
It is going to be tough to get something that matches that Dac, the candidates are the likes of an Aries ALTAIR, Onkyo have a new device...
I currently have LS25 in place, 30 days to evaluate. No way this is going back! How can a cable do what this does? Bass control and imaging is simply outstanding, the best speaker cable I have heard...
Sold STP to the honourable Stig.
OK, I'm giving it one last shot, so desperate am I to avoid eBay - £200.
One last attempt before going to the bay ... £230
Must be a bad time for DACs..how about £250?
