What a chance Bale had and he blew it , never mind move on. Italy still look like the probable winners to me .
Will Belgium and the Netherlands put out a rotated team I wonder ? both on six points...
Can the mighty Wales get anything out of today's game with the Azzuri ? possibly ? But this is an excellent Italian side and I think they will go on and win the Euro's . Big call I know but my gut...
Nice one, cracking buy.
Hi Mike.
No it just quite literally conked out and died, wouldn't turn on again.
I contacted a repairer centre but decided it wasn't worth it and took it to a tip/recycling centre.
Have...
Speak to Audionote, they bought up Voyd turntables back in the 90s, and all the parts with it.
Unless papst make a modern equivalent?
Very hard to find.
Blade runner 2049
I watched this a couple of years back thought it was OK, on second viewing I really like it now.
I sit 9.5 feet away from a 50. Did fancy 55 but think it would have been just too big to go in our bay window area.
50 seems about right to me.
I did try 2 channel stereo for a while but needed...
It's difficult to find an av receiver at a discounted price at the moment because of covid and other issues, I've seen a few mixed reviews of the Sony 790, I've just this last week bought a Yamaha...
I would definitely go for the 1200G if I was to get another Techie.
I currently run a pair of Avatars mk1 so early one's I think these have the castle made cabinets and drive them with a Puresound 2a3 amplifier.
The combination works well, plenty of power and...
I'm constantly avoiding any news or the main channels at the moment, it's a shame he didn't quite make the hundred but enough is enough of this ott coverage, it's not like he was cut short in his...
Hi Grant.
Yes very probably, saw a 551r and again no remote, and asking 495 for it? He's having a laugh.
Been looking at all sorts of stuff recently, especially AV receiver's and one thing keeps cropping up on eBay and that is older receivers without a remote control, sometimes this is not such an...
I have one of those, it's not much cop to be honest, I've relegated it to just supply my WiFi router and front door chime.
I decided to build my own using a pair of MK double sockets linked...
Ah yes I see, silly me.
I would go for the Denon, my Yamaha died recently and I don't think I'll buy another any time soon!
I have to also say I have a Panasonic plasma which I really like, had it for 9 years now but it's...
Still haven't decided what to do with the old yammy? Having recently upgraded to a nice 50 inch 4k HDR Samsung TV and now a Sony x800m2 4k blu ray player.
I'm now pretty keen to get surround sound...
Very nice indeed, the Border Patrol is a perfect partner for the scouts
I tried living with a single run of my Hitachi lc-ssx with jumpers then back to bi-wired with two runs of my Hitachi cable.
I prefer the bi-wired set up with my LV'S. Just sounds a bit more open,...
Good thread about it here.

I doubt it's the arm, just need a better cartridge! I would recommend a cart with a superior tip.
Such as a line contact or shibata.
I currently have a Hana SL on my Voyd and there are no issues...
I really liked the Oyaide B10 mat, I would recommend a better headshell and cartridge like the above post.
Definitely do not touch the arm, it's a magnesium arm and a lot of work went into it, you...
If you want to splash out on an aftermarket power cord, just get a mark grant one and be done with it, no need to spend anymore or just use the one it came with.
I used the Oyaide mat, I preferred it to the Achromat, also 5mm.
Another and cheap option is a cartridge carbon fibre spacer for the headshell.
But I've since sold my Technics and SME 309.
