I thought they sounded poor when I heard a pair at Scalford a couple of years ago, initially impressive but something false about the sound esp the bass.

I have a set of Hifiman 400's they sound excellent with a Chord Mojo.
ps they are for sale if anyone is interested as I have gone to closed back cans to stop the wife moaning when she is watching tv.

The bridge may not been needed but it is still the best way to a reliable wifi conection in a house with multiple Sonos devices.

Yep was on Deezer Elite for a year now on Tidal Hi Fi no difference really that was until until the Tidal Masters came along.;)

You will need a usb to spdif converter something cheap and cheerful should do, I think Behringer do one for around £25 or you could look out for a used M2Tech Hiface which should be better...

Supposed to clean up the spdif output on things like CA, Sonos Connect, ATV etc.

You just plug the drive into the usb port of the Pi and use a player like Moode to access the files.
