Hopefully we will be strong enough at home to go through, and well done to Celtic tonight.

Good to see Greenock Morton on the tv tonight, playing Partick Thistle on BBC Scotland
'Mon the 'Ton! What's the score, Robin?:)
Marco.
Interesting, as they pushed Hibs all the way in the cup last weekend!
One of my mates is a big Morton fan, so I try and follow their results.
Marco.
The big comeback happened with Morton winning 3-2
Bloody hell, it was worth watching then!
Looks like Morton are going to be worth a watching this season...
Marco.
Norwich v Chelsea has been entertaining so far.
It's half time right now.
Four goals in it, two apiece, and all of them have been well created :)
Chelsea's third was excellently taken by Abraham.
Godfrey was lucky not to get sent off for that stamp on Mount's foot.
Not the result I wanted, but probably the one I anticipated. It's not really expected we'll beat the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, but we never give up, which is all you can ask for really. Our next two away games will be key (West Ham and Burnley) with a home game in between to Man City...
It's that game after the international break that prompted me to watch the Norwich v Chelsea match today.
I haven't seen Norwich play for a good while.
They're organised, determined and resilient, so I don't expect they'll be a pushover for any team.
It's just a matter of time before they start winning games.
We destroyed Newcastle to be honest. And laughing at Lawro's prediction "Pukki won't score 10 goals in the Premier League all season." 3 games in and he has 5! Hope we don't lose him in January...
Lawro comes out with a right load of tripe 95% of the time.
He's got Scouse coloured blinkers, that one :)
I'm hoping this works out for one of my local sides https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49458044
They have a brief stay of execution.
Doesn't sound encouraging
It's not great.
City signed Colin Bell from Bury in 1966.
We played them a couple of times rec ently. We're a decent side. Ti's always a shame.
Good win for Liverpool v the gunners.
Over to city.
Man u got themselves beat, although car didn't help
My son and I sometimes refer to the only stand named after a player as The Bell End, such is our slightly irreverent sense of humour.
The Bell End isn't an end of the ground, but using that description has much comedic effect.
We don't shout about it :o
bell end, lol.. like that. bournemouth are usually a tough side so good luck.
Hoping for a good result against St Mirren today
This town is in Austria

Hard fought victory today, great free kick.
3 points is all you can ask after a tough euro match on the thursday.
Very surprised to see Newcastle beat Spurs away! :D. After Palace doing over Man U yesterday, it is already looking like a two-horse race for the title after only three games...
Think it was always going to be. Both standout sides, although City have strongest squad and have to be favs again.
Although sure they would swap Liverpool for the champions league
Makes a Canaries fan continue his optimism for another week, at least!
A clear penalty not given despite a VAR review. That is now a number of incidents that have all resulted in a negative outcome for City. I'd like to consider that as unusual for my team, but it is not.
Well its the holy grail the Cl.. that will give City the set, and I fancy them this year to maybe make final. They are due.... Although the Spanish sides have strengthened Im not yet convinced.
Well that’s what you get for playing an untested team... Crawley Town (who?) 1 - Norwich City 0.
Wrexham continue to stumble on as usual:rolleyes:
Crawley Town are specialist giant killers.
I can't remember how many seasons ago (it's not many) they got through as far as playing the other team with Manchester in its name, at The Swamp (so called after Shrek, who used to live there).
They gave Ordsall Rovers a fair run for the money.
Your manager didn't want the inconvenience or the hassle of playing unwanted additional games when the focus is to stay in the Premier League.
I can't say as I blame him.
Liverpool went out of both domestic cups last season in the first game.
They were focused on trying to win the Premier League, only they didn't pull it off.
You have to balance the approach, and try to win everything :D
Breaking news - Bury have been expelled from the EFL.
Bolton Wanderers have 14 days to sort things out, or they're also going to be expelled.
It's a sad day :(
Sad but alas probably had to happen
Bolton have been bought :D
Bury was a mess financially, and the prospective buyers found more and more skeletons in the closet each day :(
Unfortunately I've not had time as I'd hoped, with various things going on, to contribute to this thread,, but just to say I'm pleased that fans of teams other than Celtic and Rangers are discussing their clubs fortunes, or otherwise, so long may that continue, as despite appearances sometimes, this isn't just an SPL thread!:eyebrows:
That said, good luck to both of the Glasgow teams tonight in their respective games in Europe. It won't be easy, but I'm confident that both will go through and reach the group stages of the Europa League, setting up a potentially mouth-watering tie on Sunday at Ibrox!
As an aside, this is an interesting loan signing for us: https://tbrfootball.com/stoke-fans-r...ine-at-celtic/
Does anyone who follows English football know much about him?:)
Marco.
he did well at Ruben in Russia, but didnt seem to click at Stoke. think he was oiriginally with Grasshoppers, so a good pedigree. Could be a good player; guess it depends if he is up for the rough and tumble of the SPL and the pressure of winning every game.
Hopefully good results tonight
1-4 away from home, and 6-1 on agg, that'll do!!
Now, one of the rare times I'll be saying this.... COME ON THE GERS!:more::more:
Marco.
Terrible finishing tbh. You've gotta score when on top. We will pay for this
