Had some mad winds up here today.
Fitted a window this morning in a large office. I took out the old one, and when my brother opened to the door to bring in the new one, the through draught it created sent a shitload of post it notes from various desks. It was like a giant confetti storm. Now I've no idea who sits where, so I placed the notes in random places on the desks.
I imagine there'll be a fair bit of confusion come Monday morning, with folk doing stuff above or below their salary grade. Not my fault, they should have bought gummier post its :(
Serves them right for trying to organise their work with post it notes.
i hate those things.. reminds me of once upon a time in america when they mixed up the babies but forgot which way...one gets the good life and another gets it up the ass:D
Indeed. And with all the technology available today, too! It's a wonder some of them can still write...
Anyway, nice and sunny here, but with a cold wind. Can't be arsed cooking today, so we're going out for Sunday lunch to one of our favourite local pubs: http://thefatboarwrecsam.co.uk/
Looking forward to it, as the food is always superb!
Marco.
3C here, and sun is coming out... wind minimal at moment so may get out today for a while :partytime:
Nice and Sunny but cold. Even managed two hours tidying up a couple of flower beds and having a 'chat' with the resident Robins. Almost like Spring and made me feel better.
Sunny here and very mild. Or was earlier on. Went down to the shop, didn't need a coat. Can't fault that for mid February. Last year at this time it was all snow and ice.
I think today's weather is probably the nicest we've had round here so far this year. About 8 degrees, sunny, no wind. Was working in just a t shirt this afternoon (and trousers).
Still plenty of time for it all to go bad though - I think the "Beast from the East" last year was March.
