I recently bought four 150g tins of baked beans for less than the price of a small single tin of Heinz beans. Talk about paying for the label.
There is currently a backlash against Heinz's pricing. Tesco have fallen out with them about this, and are reportedly ceasing to sell their products. Anita's off to Lidl shortly, and I've asked her to pick up some Newgate ones, which came out better than Heinz in Which? magazine's taste tests.Quote:
