Hard to get hold of outside of Puglia but if you get the chance, try it. So intense a hit, it burns the tongue a little bit......but so addictive.
Just one teaspoon in a big pan of pasta sauce means no parmesan required!
I am a complete junkie for it, I have it spread on toast some mornings.

Tasted great too.. stewed meat(rolled in flour) and onions(went in later) pressure cooked, then thickened. Yams wedges(went in later) cut and cooked with roast potatoes in butter and avacado oil. Carrots and butter... washed down with chateau 2019 homemade mineral water(chilled):eyebrows:
