Thanks Guy, really appreciate your view, and will definitely give it another try. I rarely have a roast in a pub/restaurant, to be fair I’m not really a big roast fan, but I can just about cook one:

Was quite nice actually, chicken leek & bacon filo pastry pie, dauphinois potatoes and baked Mediterranean veg.

Ended up tasting better than I expected, it was basically all the veg out of the bottom drawer of the fridge that was almost past it's best with pasta, extra virgin, black pepper and cheese.Quote:
