Not if it's prepared (all sinew and tendon removed by butcher beforehand), cooked and carved properly.... It's the tastiest and most succulent part of the bird!:exactly:

So you buy a whole turkey, at no small cost, and then essentially just eat the breast meat?:mental::D

i dont buy them now, but yes when i did the breast was enough to feed a hundred, and is delish if done right; ie carving the day before and putting in stock. melts in mouth.... the legs were turned into patties and frozen for meals for quite some time along with the extra breast off cuts etc.. bones made soup... no, nothing wasted. just done differently, and we brits have some experience you know ;)

I didn't say that the breast was dry or not good, because as you point out, if prepared and cooked properly, it isn't. However, it's not just Brits who eat (and love) turkey legs, or know what to do with them... And they most certainly aren't tough or unpalatable, if treated with the same care and attention, as you outlined you do with the breast meat:ner:;)
