need to investigate.. think the one near the school is maybe open then, and one in centre of town too. most only open at 4pm ish for the dinner trade... shit, this has me in mood for a supper now :lol:

dad loved salt on his, but he liked it on corn flakes too... i often make porridge with a mix of pinhead and big flakes. usually with double cream, brown sugar and fruit.
Salt, maybe some linseeds ... milk or unsweetened almond milk in my case but only after it’s cooked). Nothing sweet should ever go near a plate of porridge! I was at a meditation retreat a while back where it was boiled in milk and then honey added. Utterly foul.
i add a pinch when cooking...;)
Ha - I'd love to like porridge, as I know it's good for you, but the only way I can keep it down is when there's no salt [UGH!] been near it, and a touch of cream and whisky (or even Drambuie), and also a little honey added;)
That makes it semi-palatable, and a bit less like 'sick'!
