Yeah, that's the old-fashioned way of doing it, but then you don't get the texture or flavour sensation of all the accompanying salad/pickles/sauces, etc, as you bite in. Just not the same or as interesting for me:)

in a roll i usually stick to soft or softened cheese as a cheeseburger, but no relish, or with either tomato or preferably good brown sauce. not keen on most relish or creamsQuote:

Today's scran... Del's homemade gnocchi with homemade tomato and basil sauce, topped with freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano and fresh basil leaves, served with some crusty bread:

I'd originally decided to have it with a Chianti Riserva DOCG, but it was such a lovely evening that we cracked open a bottle of a rather excellent chilled sparkling rosé, as the princess LOVES pink!:D
