Yeah I like cold chicken. I also like it hot with gravy etc, but fridge cold is my fav. I agree it can be dry at times. That chicken was nice n moist

Fair enough, mate. We're very different in that respect. I like roast chicken breast to have a crispy, nicely browned skin on, be very well seasoned with salt and pepper, infused with fresh garlic and herbs, nice and moist, and served piping hot with a lovely rich, tasty gravy - so pretty much the complete opposite!:D
Oh, and from a whole chicken, the breast meat is my least favourite. Give me a nice juicy leg or thigh, and some meat on the bone, any day!;)

Why on earth do customers put up with it?
There is no excuse for such rudeness. They'd *try* that once with me, and after I'd given them a slap for their snobby impudence and lack of manners, that's the last they'd see of me!! Plus, I'd be on Tripadvisor like a shot to tell the whole world of my dreadful experience, and it would be worded in such a way so as to do MAXIMUM damage to their business!
That kind of shit is one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of socialising in London or any other impersonal big city:rolleyes:
Marco.
Maybe used to it. Probably re terrorism, they've been instructed not to be over friendly so they don't get caught out.
Of course overfriendly can mean anything as its dependant on how you approach being friendly lol
Lol at the last bit, but as for the former, if that's what it's like now living in London, then THANK FUCK I'm 100s of miles away! As I've said many times before, I wouldn't live there if you paid me!! Talk about an alien world...
Give me genuinely friendly, customer-focussed, family-run pubs and restaurants in rural areas any day. You can keep yer big cities:exactly:

Ok, today's scran... Fresh guinea fowl in a Riesling white wine sauce, with mushrooms and a touch of cream, served with seasonal veg and roast potatoes:

Was lovely, and how I like my poultry cooked. It could just've easily been chicken!;)
