Mushroom pappardelle with cream, sage, threw in a bit of chicken and spinach to make it a square meal! Could've done without dropping a pan of fried onion on the floor though. No wine tonight, can't sleep now when I drink the stuff.

Lovely fillet cooked to just before done.
About 61c.. 64 on hot half.
After rest it bled a fair amount of myoglobin but settled and was just perfect with a touch of redness .
Steak was melt in mouth.
Had with rest of mash.

Filet is my favourite cut for steak.
Cooked up a nice bit of beef.
It's a Scottish cut called salmon cut. It's a single muscle cut similar to silverside but leaner
