I no longer have a deep fryer. Every time I get one, it ends up looking like something that's been used for engine oil, 'cos the family abuse it.

Ah gotcha... I just like things to be as tasty as possible. Same with your steak, which looked nice, but some pan juices poured over the top/some form of sauce, or a little Dijon mustard on the side, to dip the slices of steak into, would've been just the ticket for me :)

Now what to eat...

Takeaway night, house special biryani with a stuffed naan. Mia the cat had Felix cod and tuna in jelly, she loves the jelly, and a slice of ham with her worming tablet secreted inside.
