Decided to cook that bacon.
So first a hot bath to get rid of all the white proteins etc. Then cook on stock til stock all but gone. Then into the air fry at 160c for about 10 min https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...523388eeab.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4fcedb5fea.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3121cc8fa0.jpg
Oooh, nice and crispy!
Marco.
Love it. Some flans Del made earlier... One tomato, basil, creme-fraiche, and pesto. and the other caramelised onions, sauteed courgettes, oregano and feta.

Went nice with a crisp, chilled, Sauvignon Blanc:)

not big on flans but the tomato one looks nice
Churz, mate, but it's a pastry flan. You like pastry, don't you?:)
So think of it as a big open sausage roll, with lovely light flaky, buttery pastry, but full of nicer and healthier stuff than sausage meat!;)
They were both lovely, although pic-wise, I should've taken a few shots of the flans sliced on a plate, as with both being close-ups, you can't really see what the pastry looked like.

I don’t usually post much in here as I’m generally too busy eating the subject to take pictures of it, but I felt Ursula’s Apple Crumble Pie worthy of putting up!
It was absolutely magnificent!

Looks great, mate. Perfect winter comfort food!:)
Try and post some pics here more often, as it's good to see what you've been munching. All it takes is a couple of clicks and a few secs on a smartphone, then you can dive in and devour yer grub!;)
