But not so much with the wrist watches;)

We were late out to dinner tonight so went for the same restaurant as last night, and again it didn’t disappoint.
No starters as we had been quite piggy today!
Tamzin had the same beef as Sue did last night, so no new pic, Will had the “Undergrowth” pizza - Mozzarella, porcini mushrooms and truffle cream

I had the Bresaola, rocket and parmesan pizza

And Sue had a fish platter

The kids had puddings, not sure what though, but they looked great to a non sweet eater!

And again very reasonably priced at €102 including drinks.
Three more nights, I would be very surprised if we don’t eat here again.
Tonight we went to La Villetta, a “proper” Italian restaurant if the google reviews are to be believed. Looks good so far.

Then kids had dessert - profiteroles and pistachio cake.

And all under £100.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...68ed8f87b8.jpg
I love wild boar - my local butcher offers wild boar sausages, as well as venison sausages, but they quickly sell out.
Everything you have shown looks delicious! :)
You’ll be glad to know tonight was our last “blow out” night in Rome, so I won’t be bothering you quite so regularly!
I would imagine we are no different to anyone travelling abroad and limited to one location - you try a few restaurants, and then decide which one is best for your final night?
We opted for L’Aquila D’Oro - it was close, but having had two great meals this was the last supper.

Both Sue and I found the beef a bit ropey, tasted good but too much gristle.
Kids had desert, a crème brûlée- mum and dad had another Aperol Spritz!

And that is that, a week off from cooking but now back to the reality of life!
You'll need more than 12,000 steps to walk that lot off, but it all looks great :) Bet you're not missing Hungry Horse pubs one bit.
Iskendar lamb kebab and rice, with a couple of glasses of a 2022 Château de la Grand Tour, Cuvée Phoebe, Bordeaux.
