My daughter and youngest grand daughter love the bakes I make. I sometimes make them with a home made white cheese sauce, or do a chicken and mushroom bake.

Today we're celebrating Chinese New Year, so Del's making a selection of Dim Sum (from scratch), along with various dipping sauces, which will simply be served with some Jasmine tea, as we're off alcohol for Lent.
After that, we're reverting to a traditional Sunday roast, this time of locally-sourced Welsh lamb, which will be infused with fresh garlic and rosemary and served with a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes. This will be accompanied with some non-alcoholic sparkling apple and pear perry.
I'll see if I can take some pics and post them later!
Marco.
Took pics of the 'before' (the Dim Sum were cooked), but forgot the 'after', as we were too busy talking!:eyebrows:
Anyway, here ya go, all at the preparation stage (various Dim Sum parcels and rolls: chicken with garlic and ginger, then ones with prawn and spring onion, then ones with spring onion, celery, beansprouts and coriander, then ones with julienne of carrots, spring onions, mushrooms, beansprouts, garlic, chilli and soy sauce):

...and a pic of the broccoli and cauliflower cheese, and green beans in a fresh tomato, paprika, garlic and chilli sauce, before it went in the oven, which accompanied the lamb:

Also forgot to take a pic of the lamb, but trust me, it was good - as was the Dim Sum!

very neat
Lol - that's Del... She's a quite a perfectionist. Plus, food has to tempt the eyes first, before it pleases the palate, so presentation matters! :)
