Today's lunch., enjoyed al fresco in the warm Wrexham sunshine... Fresh rabbit, from our local butcher, made into a casserole with fresh stock/herbs, white wine, capers, smoked bacon lardons and Calamata olives, served with steamed rice and fine green beans:

Lol.... All three were superb, mate! Don't normally 'do' desserts/puds, but Del had made some for my uncle, who was visiting and loves them, and those were left over:)
Rabbit casserole was also great - very satisfying and tasty.

It's very nouveau riche, '5-star Hilton', including the pool, which looks lovely [but would be better if it were located in a warm country, where no doubt it would be appreciated more], although again not really our scene. I had this conversation with Kevin (CageyH) when he was here, and posted pics of his (equally lovely) pool in his house in the South of France.
Neither Del or I are swimmers, or folks who lounge around pools or the beach. We prefer the countryside and mountains and hills... Just different strokes for different folks! Nice place to go though for a meal or a chill out - lucky boy:respect:

It was 33 degrees C in the pool. Actually a bit hot for proper swimming but most people just want to take a dip and mess around, which that is a good temp for.Quote:
