Anyway, forgot to post this yesterday... Lunch was Gloucester 'Old Spot' pork chop in a fresh apple, cider and Calvados sauce, with capers and crème fraîche, served with seasonal vegetables and a potato bake with cabbage and Taleggio cheese:

pork in cider looks good.. i used chicken and wine lol i meant it to be cider but forgot to buy any.. had a little white from a small bottle i use for cooking
(Sorry, no pics) yesterday home made lasagne (& chips :eyebrows: ) with some convivial company, my better half, her youngest daughter who works for channel 4 & one of her uni friends who was down for the weekend. Today custard tart for breakfast :) & I've just had a bacon cheeseburger.
Wondering what to do with four left over sausages (no sniggering at the back!).
Lunch today was a lamb samosa and a mocca coffee.

Now this is MUCH better.
700g 00 grade pasta flour. Three tablespoons extra virgin. 7g sea salt. 490g water. Real baker's yeast. One tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds in the dough for a subtle nuttiness - brilliant move.
Plus homemade blueberry jam. 400g blueberries, 240g sugar. Nothing else.
Awesome can't stop eating it and I am not a jam man.
Loaf could have been prettier but hydration was so high I couldn't shape it. More than 490g of water I quoted above which you should use but I was experimenting.
