To be honest, it didn’t need mushroom or chicken. The pizza itself tasted great with the tomato, cheeses and olives. The little things make all the difference I think. Fresh oregano, a little sprinkle of freshly crushed fennel seed and a drizzle of really good olive oil did the job! I put a teaspoon of mustard powder in the pizza dough too and that is worth doing. Nice and thin this time as well. [emoji4]

Breakfast of champions this morning..
Brown sourdough toast with poached eggs and a good glug of Valentina Hot Sauce. Dry cured unsmoked back bacon and some Black Pudding.

Roast free-range chicken, with crispy streaky bacon and various trimmings, washed down with a nice bottle of claret (Château Cote de Baleau, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2011).
