Have you tried the Aldi Mac n cheese ? It's for two but I can just about manage it on my own. Very nice with plenty of cheese and with some bacon on top.

Unctuous - "oily or greasy"; so not a particularly flattering description.
But macaroni cheese with either added bacon or tuna fish is lovely, though not a dish I make often.

“Red Dragon pie” - Adzuki bean based vegetarian, similar idea to cottage pie, thanks to Sarah Brown (well worth looking up and having a go, very easy with tinned beans).
Also a pint of homebrew “Irish Stout) - now about six months in bottle and settled down/matured quite nicely.

Steak and red wine pie. Oven chips and mixed veg.
No photos as the pie was bought from our local farm shop - I'm hopeless at making pastry.
