not seen it bar shavings up here except in waitrose. next time im somewhere with one i need to get some tbh. My 2 weeks are up so i should be as protected as i can be. but im still super nervous if i go into even the little m&s alas.. but i keep tryingQuote:

always thought that uses rennet too. certainly doesnt say veg. might on packet tho.

Some cheeses, like basic Parmesan, use an enzyme called rennet that is found in the stomach lining of goats and calves.
This enzyme aids coagulation, which helps separate milk into solid curds, turning it into the delicious cheese you know and love.
But Parmesan is not the only cheese that uses it. Gorgonzola, Pecorino Romano, Grana Padano, Camembert, Vacherin, Emmenthaler, Gruyère, and Spain's delicious Manchego all traditionally use rennet as well.
Pecorino defo doesn't, mate, trust me. My relatives in Italy make it on their farm!:)

My sister has a serious nut allergy - as little as half a peanut could have her in hospital. But as I said, if he was rude to her, then I take it all back - you go girl! :)
