Ah I see... I'd just use the potatoes to mop up any gravy:)
I'm having steak pie with mash tonight, and always pour lashings of lovely gravy over the mash... Has to be done!:D
Do you like mashed potato? I don't mean packet cack, of course. I don't see you eating it much.

sometimes yeah, but for one its a bit trickier to do.. the packet stuff is easier tbh...not as good tho.. i get good stuff from the states so its better than normal
Yeah, I get for you why it'd be trickier, but there's *nothing* to beat homemade mash. Packet stuff, no matter how 'good', always tastes processed in comparison, plus Del always makes it with fresh butter and touch of cream:)

You can't always mop up all the gravy with mash, so a roll becomes essential for the elusive bits..:trust:
