Chicken, yorkies, gravy, chips all home madehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a3f5fdec07.jpg
Well the yorkies weren't lol
Duck with wine and redcurrant jus, mini roast potatoes, Mediterranean roast veg and corn.
Really fancied some roast potatoes but didn’t want to do a traditional roast.

Had a delicious home made Spag bol.
Tesco's finest beef mince, all fresh ingredients, ripe tomatoes, herbs, basil, garlic, onions, mushrooms, red wine, Fusilini 50/50 pasta, washed down with a lovely Malbec.
Would have posted a pic but it's all gone :D
Roast chicken with roast spuds, parsnips and Jerusalem artichokes & sprouts/broccoli. Sat the chicken on a nice trivet with the wings cut off and in there too and home grown rosemary, sage and bay leaves thrown in
These are the first of this years home-grown sprouts, artichokes and parsnips (hence why they’re small), they’ve still growing to do and a few more frosts needed really to set the sweetness in... Not my own spuds though, they went last month unfortunately.
This is first year I’ve grown these artichokes too, so looking forward to trying them ;)
Some of the sprout plants haven’t done well this year, it’s not been that hot or wet until too late on in the season, so using the smaller, less developed plants first. Saving the sprout tops though for a more special meal. If you’ve never tried them, try and get some from your local farmers market if you can.

Nice, Danny-boy - nothing like growing and enjoying your own produce! However, next time it would be good to see something cooked and plated up:)
