OK, What's For Lunch or Tea Today?

Cheers, mate. It was good old Lidl [apparently the chosen shop of chavs:D] - this stuff:

Probably the best fresh pasta I've tasted from a supermarket, and knocks anything similar I've had from M&S or Waitrose into a cocked hat, for half the price!:)

lol, i shop in sainsburys as they give me slots every week(now). any slots i get in tesco go to my son and always have. he needs it more than me. but now im getting regular slots myself im happy enough with sainsbury.

Yeah, mate, sure. Whatever works best. We shop all over the place, depending on where we are, what we're doing and what mood we're in. Creatures of habit we're not:)

Just waiting until we can cross the border again into England, so we can visit our favourite fishmonger!:cool:

Oh, and Del's doing coq au vin for later [currently marinating in red wine and fresh herbs], so pics to follow...

Lidl's italian shelves are excellent....just about all of it is top quality food and not expensive...at the moment though..it's a one shop deal..Aldi..500mtrs across the road..in, out and home..20.30 hours it's near empty...maybe half a dozen shoppers tops...

Down know about elsewhere, but Lidl is very middle class down here in the south. If you want to see chavs in all their glory, Asda’s the place to go!
