Looks good - how spicy was it? Mild, warm, hot, very hot, or downright 'radioactive'?

Wife and kids out for the afternoon/evening, including a meal out at a local “datalink you can” place... :spew:
So home alone with the dog, “modded” Tesco four cheese and Balsamic red onion became “Seven cheese, Balsamic red onion, and non-Balsamic red onion, Salami Milano, Chorizo, green olive and oregano pizza!” still not a good as making them completely from scratch but tasty enough, can’t remember where the Valpolicella came from but is reasonable, and the dog is used to listening to Capital Dance! :)

(with a wine of this age the cork is often in a very poor state and has to be removed with great care)
No pudding as I was full. (and no pics either - sorry)
We're not far from Green Lanes, top Turkish and Kurdish food there. We've got a great bakery and grocer's called Yasir Halim as well for bread, Lahmacun etc

Have been using some Ottolenghi Test Kitchen recipes for the last week or so. They’re very good for using up ingredients in unusual but tasty combinations. Really versatile and easy to lift bits from, to use elsewhere.
This was Magical Chicken and Parmesan Soup with Pappardelle.

Roast beef this evening, really pleased with myself as it is the first time that I have made a Yorkshire pudding - I think it turned out well (I used sparkling spring water in Delia Smith's recipe as I thought that the CO2 would help).
