I think non-breast needs deep frying which is more hassle.

Nice, tenderised, big breasts on the other hand, do not...;)

I can't stand deep fryers with oil kept between frying. They just smell vile. Even a pan with a basket isn't nice between frys.

Good with roasted new potatoes with rosemary and a small green salad. Just like Carluccio's do.

Yeah I agree, but breast wouldn't interest me at all southern fried (not even big ones, lol), so for me that'd be a non-starter.

Del doesn't use a deep-fat fryer though (as we don't own one for all the reasons you've said), just shallow-fries the chicken in a wide pan. If the fat's hot enough and the breadcrumb mix is right (sticks to the meat), you get the lovely crispy, golden-coloured results as shown in the picture earlier:)

Weel... This is wot I prefer using chicken breast for... Some Shnitzel, enjoyed earlier for lunch, with a nicely dressed side-salad (using lettuce from our garden), with sliced red onions, black olives and asparagus tips:
