I don’t really like baked beans, but that combination really works
That looks lovely, and I'm sure tastes as good as it looks. :)
I've noted the can of lager - well done, but lager should always be drunk from a glass or tankard, never out of the can. ;)
Looks good Roy.
Thats a belting looking plate Roy !! We had a Lasagne which was partly made by moi , as I cannot lift anything after my hernia op ! I managed to install the ingredients into the pot but the other half got the big heavy dish out to make it all up !
Unfortuantely didnt take a picture -which is the point of this thread lol

Last night - home made burger. Yes, there is beef hiding in there underneath the cheese and gherkins, with air fried wedges and home made red cabbage ‘slaw. Now have two air fryers, so burgers in one and potatoes in the other - burgers in the air fryer are amazing, crunchy and gnarly on the outside but still moist in the middle. Excellent recipe from BBC Good Food for “secret sauce” which is very similar to a well known fast food establishment run by a clown…
Never would have thought mushy peas would go with a roast Roy, but why not if you like it!
Now that looks good Alex - especially as I'm not that keen on burgers. ;)
Lunch out today at Felix, Warley. Katsu curry main course

Looked nice Roy.

Looks good Alex. :)
Yesterday was my wedding anniversary so cooked my wife’s favourite it’s called “Marry me Chicken” because apparently once you try it you’ll want to marry the person who made it! Essentially chicken in a double cream, Parmesan, garlic and sun dried tomato sauce - it really is lovely and easy to make. Of course, she already married me 17 years ago so I can’t vouch for that bit!
Served with her favourite Hasselback potatoes and some nice veg.

Curry tonight, like making curry now, its so absurdly easy. just brown chicken, then fry onion & garlic, add some curry powder, then liquid of choice, mine was coconut milk and then cream. Threw in a bit of broccoli as I didn't want to steam it cos my kitchen has no ventilation! Worked a treat, some coriander to finish. Who needs all that authentic Indian crap!!
When I used to make curries I would go to the trouble of pain-stakingly grind and mix the various spices and herbs. No longer do that anymore as I rarely eat curry these days.
Crap photo but tasted great, unfortunately won’t be added to the regular weekly roster as daughter wasn’t so keen…. Italian meatballs with spaghetti

Chicken n red wine stew tonight, with all sorts of stuff thrown in, went for a meditarranean slant with olives, tomatoes. It's dead easy and was well tasty.
Dad’s Kitchen needed a quick supper tonight as Dad’s Taxi is in full swing this evening…. Chorizo and Halloumi Kebabs glazed in honey with chilli and paprika. Over cooked a bit as not done them in the new air fryer before but still tasted great. Chips done in the other air fryer, pita breads were filled with homemade garlic sauce before assembly.

“All you can eat” buffet on a Sunday evening at our local Indian, The Curry Inn in Needham Market. Excellent restaurant, and a selection of different starters and curries to try, be rude not to try them all!

Did they give you a bucket for the mains? [emoji4]
Stir fry chicken with noodles and veg cooked in stock after the initial stir fry tonight

No, but i was so stuffed I had to ask for a bucket! (Stir fry looked good, no one here likes them apart from me. :( )

Always end up overeating at those buffet places, more often than not because just when you think you've finished eating someone comes back to the table with something you missed.

Noodles I would think?
Fakeaway tonight, normally breakfast from the Golden Arches… sausage, egg and bacon muffins with air fried french fries…. Easy and quick but mainly so tasty (if you like this sort of thing.). [emoji846]

I wouldn't touch anything from the big M.
I'm not a fan of McDonalds, but if we ever go somewhere for the day, we'll often drop in at one for a sausage and egg McMuffin and a cappuccino. Much prefer it to their burgers, and at about 270 calories not too bad. This only happens maybe once every couple of months, so I think my body will cope :)
Been celebrating the recent warm weather with a salad or two:
https://i.postimg.cc/0Qr5wvnT/002.jpg
Salad leaves, hard-boiled egg, avocado, celery, grated carrot and red cabbage.
A Spanish naval orange for desert, and washed down with a bottle of Doombar ale.
Very healthy Barry, and looks good.
Another “takeaway” for speed, chicken souvlaki made last night and marinaded over night, 20 mins in the air fryer and the French fries 15 mins in the other air fryer. Greek salad left overs. Really tasty!

We had a voucher for 40% off mains at Harvester, I went for a mixed grill which wasn’t great to be honest but filled a hole for about twelve quid.

Another salad:

Salad leaves, grated carrot and red cabbage, hard-boiled egg, grilled bacon, avocado, sweetcorn, orange pepper, celery and radish.
Looks good Roy. Home made? and are they both for you?
