Looks great. Was it?
Steak and onion baguettes tonight. May even whip up a thick and rich gravy for them.
Pie floater :D
Home made pea & ham soup with a hot pork pie in the bottom of the bowl ;) :D
Very nice looking pasta earlier there, Tony!

Aldi's fresh Porcini Mushroom & Truffle Triangoli, served with a simple fresh sage and butter sauce (a classic accompaniment to fresh pasta in Italy), which is very light and fresh, and allows you to really taste the pasta.
For supermarket fresh pasta, this is truly in the first rank! The pasta itself has a beautiful texture and flavour (about 85% as good as home-made), and the mushroom filling is tasty and full of that lovely 'earthy' flavour you get from porcini mushrooms.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh pasta, but doesn't have the time or inclination to make it, plus it knocks any other bought fresh pasta I've tasted into a cocked hat - and only £1.75 a pack! See here: https://www.aldi.co.uk/porcini-mushr...75029167460001
