when you say water pastry, are you talking about hot water pastry, the pastry they make pork pies with....hot water and lard?? being the wet ingredients.......It does taste wonderful, but it's heart attack on a plate..lol...

Soz, no.... Defo not my thing. I like some pies (occasionally), but only warm [yes THOSE ones, too:eyebrows:] and with gravy, such as steak pie, game pie, etc (with a nice shortcrust or puff pastry), but cold, gristly jellied stuff, such as that gives me the boak!:spew:
