Steak pie looks good quality, Grant. Let us know what you thought of it. Donny R, I presume?:)
Tony, your Potato and Chorizo Quesadilla looks restaurant quality, and no doubt tasted like it! Right up my alleyway, mate

I'm very partial to a snake and pygmy pie but as we all agree it has to be decent quality. My mum made epic pies but sadly she left no record of her recipes.
Today's lunch, all frozen fishy things from Lidl (and very high quality for supermarket food)...
From the left, Tempura King Prawns with a sweet chilli dip, Scallops in a Pea and Prosecco sauce, and best of all from their current Spanish week promotion, from 'Sol Mar', Gambas al Ajillo con Verduras (garlic king prawns with vegetables), mainly peppers, and which was lovely and garlic-y!:)
Served with some crusty French stick, to mop up the sauce, and a small pot of wild rice and red pepper salad, washed down with nice chilled bottle of Château Métairie du Razès Corbières Rosé, from Lidl:

Box from Lidl (TBH, the whole of this range, during their Spanish week promotion, is worth buying, as it's excellent quality):

Lovely, Tony... Did you make it yourself - do you have a pizza oven?:)
Marco.
Thanks Marco. All made from scratch using the last of my strong flour and semolina. No chance of pizza oven here but planning on making one at the house when moved in permanently. This was done as a quickie in the oven.
Tried doing a sourdough one a little while ago but it was a lot of effort tbh.
This was just a quick and easy way of making the most of the mushrooms and some mozzarella that needed using up.

Nice one, Tony, well it's came out very well, just the right amount of cheese and tomato sauce base, and the base of the pizza looks nicely cooked and the right thickness:thumbsup:
We're planning on building a traditional Italian brick pizza oven in our garden, something like this:
