It's Easter Sunday!:ner:

That, along with Christmas day, are for us the two main culinary celebrations of the year:)

Remember that we'll happily be spending 3 hours over the whole meal, with a couple of bottles of vino. It's not a rush job!;)

Classic Dry Martini Cocktail:


1 part Noilly Prat vermouth.
1 part vodka.
1 dash Orange Bitters.

Twist of fresh orange to garnish, and add an extra orangey 'zing'.

LOL no, only at the weekends! You'd be useless at traditional banquet lunches, served in Italy at the likes of Christenings, weddings or First Holy Communions...

You start around midday, and 14 courses later (not big portions, though), from antipasto, to pasta, to roast meats, veg, puds, cakes - everything homemade from scratch, all of it locally sourced, if not from the host's own farm, and umpteen different types of booze (often including wine from the host's own vineyard), you should finish before 7pm!!:eek::D
