Lol - not necessary, dude. It's all water under the bridge, as far as I'm concerned. I also accept that the latter was a misunderstanding:)

Marco,
How to completely fuck up a meal by drinking too much and not paying attention!
I spent quite a while making (from scratch) the coating for the rack of lamb (fresh chives, rosemary, garlic, parsley and olive oil)..

and the same with the mini Gratin dauphinois, like getting the cream, milk, nutmeg, seasoning etc balance correct, which imo i did and was perfect, but..
I took my eye off the ball with the red wine jus and it ended up looking like a murder scene..
I know taste comes first, but it was fucking annoying to screw it up at the last minute..

It was super tasty though
When it comes to 'ready meals', the Tesco branded ones are pretty good IMO. Just be aware of the amount of salt, sugar and saturated fat they contain. It's the often excessive content of the latter which make them unhealthy, and a poor part of a balanced diet.
The occasional use, for convenience and expediency, is perfectly accceptable.
tho im being naughty tonight and having steak pie and mash..
Dad was round for lunch, as he's busy with friends visiting him tomorrow, so we had Sunday lunch today! Not much time to fuss over photography, as we wanted to eat, but you'll get the idea :)
Sliced roast leg of lamb, served with a homemade Italian vegetable cake called 'sformato' [made with courgette, broccoli and spinach, topped with breadcrumbs], plus cauliflower and broccoli mornay, garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, steamed asparagus, mangetout and various other veg, with homemade gravy and fresh mint sauce (made with mint from our garden):

Followed by homemade Zabaglione (whipped egg yolks with sweet Marsala wine) with sponge fingers and chocolate biscuit spirals to dip in:

...all washed down with a rather nice burgundy, a bottle of 2010 Côte de Nuits-Villages, from my 'special stash', just right for drinking now:
