Well, Justers, all I can say is that is the POLAR OPPOSITE of my experience with Lidl (or Aldi), and you know my standards and how fussy I am about the quality of the food I eat!;)

Mince isn't something I have much of (although I like it), but when I do, would always buy it fresh from a butcher. Supermarket mince, from anywhere, will always be shit in comparison.

Blood juices were running but meat was cooked too. It browns up in the sauce. The overnight soak makes it extra render and super juicy.
Some of the sauce will become gravy. Just reduce it and add a little arrowroot
Lots of spices in there
