2 days later and this is even better. If you like smoked mackerel this comes highly recommended. Looks like nothing but tastes spectacular.

If you don't like it, stay 1000 miles away:)

By now the soba noodles have kind of mostly dissolved into the broth (they are at the bottom of the bowl in that shot, so you can't see them), and the smoked mackeral flavour has permeated the dish in a most excellent fashion.

Wholemeal spaghetti, sauce was made with cooked down vine tomatoes, back bacon, red peppers, mushrooms, celery, onion & garlic with the usual stock, purée & red wine.
