Braised steak, and chestnut mushrooms with an onion and green pesto sauce. Baked potatoes, carrots, and broccoli.
A couple of nectarines for dessert, and a glass of 2020 Château Du Colombe, Sainte-Colombe, Côtes de Bordeaux.
Got a meal deal from Tesco for weekend. Came with a bottle of vino. it says A deliciously rich, ripe Malbec made from grapes grown in vineyards that stretch along the foothills of South Africa's Breede River valley. With dark cherry, plum and blackberry flavours this well structured wine finishes with elegant spice hints. Pairs well with red meats and tomato based pasta dishes.
