Likewise for me since 2014 when I retired but then working in local government could never be referred to as 'stressful' and I don't have children (although these days I get involved with the care of three 'step' grandchildren but generally they're good kids and a pleasure to deal with, the oldest lad has just got top marks in his English lit GCSE, taken a year early).

Yup...I ran my own business, so there was always stress trying to earn enough money to pay the bills (and mortgage), as there was no 'safety net' of a regular wage. If I didn't sell stuff, I earned fook all - simples!

However, even when I was at my busiest, working all-nighters, etc, I always made sure I had some time at weekends to switch off and relax. I just think that, regardless of anything else, folks these days just give themselves way too much to do, and there simply aren't enough hours in the day to do it!:doh:

Another wee pudding, lol... Had some friends round yesterday and Del made some lemon possets, topped with whipped double-cream and fresh raspberries from our garden, topped with a sprig of mint:
