That's totally cool. I thought you were implying that I was *restricting* MY food choices, based on the weather, whereas in reality I'm complimenting them:)
Lol - then you should eat at better restaurants!:ner:;)Quote:
Not the ones I go to :D
The very best ones change their menus DAILY, depending on what produce is freshest and best, never mind twice or three times yearly!
There are two very telltale signs of a crap pub (serving food) or restaurant: 1) printed menus, laminated in plastic (because the same food is served over and over, and shows little imagination) and 2) as (1), but which contains ZILLIONS of choices of dishes, of all different types, as a) it suggests that none of it (or not much of it) is fresh, and b) the accent is on quantity, not quality.

Hehehe... I think she'd tire you out in less than 10 minutes!:eyebrows:

My comment was off the cuff and a 'little' flippant ;) but even in fine dining restaurants I usually plump for something and fries (or dauphinoise at a pinch) being a big old carb monster.
Never been that keen on salads or veg but that's probably down to the way they've been prepared/cooked/seasoned. Some of the pictures you put up of that type of food look awesome and I'm sure taste the same but your missus could probably make a welly boot taste good.
