OK, What's For Lunch or Tea Today?

Haven't posted here for ages, guys (been busy elsewhere)... I see standards haven't slipped! Some truly top-notch grub here:respect:

Anyway, tonight's tea.... Pan-fried slices of pork fillet in a cider, crème fraîche and pink peppercorn sauce, with slices of caramelised Braeburn apples, sprinkled with fresh chives and served with creamy mashed potatoes, swiss chard and assorted seasonal veg:

Chicken Jalfrezi - based on The Hairy Bikers recipe (which is bloody good).

This was very tasty indeed and leftovers were put in a wrap with Mango Chutney and then heated up like Indian Burritos for lunch.

I turned this rather ominous looking package into a pretty (but not very) good ragu. A whole kilo of meat, used too little base veg - onion/carrot/celery, but it was still pretty good.

I bought some of this recently, what's the sauce? My local cafe has started selling quality pasta, bronze cut, it is pretty good, quite a bit better than regular stuff.

Chopped up vine tomato, mushrooms. red & yellow peppers, onion & sliced cooked pork sausage cooked in veggie stock, splash of shiraz, dried italian herbs, lea & perrins, tomato puree & a squirt of tomato ketchup & a couple of grinds of black pepper (forgot the garlic).

Had eaten two bits of fish before I remembered to take a quick photo.

The wife said 'this is where we find out the chippy is better'.

Er - no. This was seriously good, though the photo could have been better.

Ice cold lager tempura batter, samphire and home made salt & pepper oven chips.
