I had a ribeye out of aldi couple of weeks ago but last few times Ive looked they have been very fatty more than marbled.
This one was nice too but I still prefer a fillet overall
Pancakes tonight of course. Lemon and sugar, rolled, done. [emoji4] Washed down with a couple of Sierra Nevada Pale Ales.
My wife does too, a rare fillet is her favourite. I hammer it with sea salt, cracked black pepper and extra virgin olive oil before it goes on the flat pan. It is a very different experience to ribeyes, t bones etc., which I prefer medium rare or medium. I’ll eat fillet raw, ultra thin sliced as sashimi with a soy honey and sciracha dipping sauce too.Quote:
